My Practical Horticulture Consultations are for those who aren't looking for regular garden maintenance but would like one-off advice, guidance or just an opportunity to pick an experienced brain. My primary experience is in caring for plants and practical horticulture/maintenance so these consultations are centered around practical horticulture rather than garden design. My only rule is that there are no silly questions!
 
The consultation is entirely based around you and what you want to talk about. I pride myself that I will be able to help with the vast majority of questions or issues but if there is anything I don't know the answer to on the day I will research it and get back to you later!

The following are a few situations in which people often find they benefit from a consultation:

- You've just moved house and inherited a garden and need some help with plant ID or advice. 
- You're completely new to gardening and want to kick start your knowledge and have the opportunity to ask basic questions or check info you've seen online (there are no silly questions!)

- You have a 'problem area' in your garden you need help with

- You need advice on controlling invasive weeds 

- You're wondering how much you can cut back or prune your perrenials and shrubs (and what the best time of year is for this!)

If you're interested in a consultation please get in touch. I'll ask a few questions about your garden first off and the reason for your consultation to make sure that what you're after is within my wheelhouse. Then if you're happy to proceed we'll arrange a date! 

Prices

- Consultations are £90 for up to an hour and a half of consult time.
- Optionally if you would like a written follow up document (sent as a PDF) covering everything we talked about with pictures and and further details necessary this is an additional £60.

Terms
​
- Payment for the consultation itself is due after your consultation.
- Payment for the follow up document is paid prior to the document being sent over.
